Description

U Ohn Sein provide a revealing insight into the amateur photo scene of the time. He was a hobby photographer since 1915. He described himself as a high-ranking employee in Yangon who devoted every free minute of his life to photography. When he was bed-ridden for an extended period of time with tuberculosis, his wife and employees left him and took most of his belongings. Fortunately, according to his own words, they left him his camera and his photographs, which he guarded like a treasure to the end of his life.
